Custom moulded and built for the Land Rover Defender, our poly sill tanks are super tough, durable and make use of otherwise wasted space on your Defender.
Your fuel or water load is kept low and centered, and the stylish design tapers up and away from the chassis rails ensuring maximum clearance and capacity for off road conditions.
Every tank we make is thoroughly inspected, leak tested, pressure tested and hand finished. Fitting is available on request. They’re designed and tested to withstand all the rigors of 4WD and touring in the harsh Australian conditions.
Currently available for the Land Rover Defender 130 with a useable capacity of 86L and for the Land Rover Defender 110 with a usable capacity of 66L.

I bought a sill tank for a defender TD5 130 and have found it to be excellent. I have used it for water storage (as I already have a long range tank)and fitted a demand pump that delivers filtered drinking water to the back and front of the vehicle. I found the tank easy to fit with all the brackets being simple to attach. I used brass fittings from ENZED elbows and T’s to plumb the tank, water leaves via the lowest point at the back, is filled by a capped tap sitting at the back of the tank and the breathers vent to a high point in the engine bay. A blanking plate was made for the fuel filler opening and sealed with a neoprene homemade gasket. So far the tank has been from Cairns to SA and Vic via Birdsville, through the snow country, The Barry Way and up and down the east coast many times as well as in to Ayres Rock via the Plenty Hwy and the Cape. Even when the tank is full it has little effect on handling because of it being so low, it has no wear and hasn’t fouled on anything and has never leaked.
