Shingleback Setup

Favourite feature of your Shingleback rack?

The quick release tilt, so I can get into the back of my ute and the black colour looks great.

When did you first come across Shingleback vertical racks? What were your initial thoughts?

First noticed the brand on social media a few years back hoping to one day get my bikes onto one.

Which Shingleback rack do you run?

RIDING LIFE

What’s the most challenging event or trail you’ve ever tackled, and what made it so tough?

Some of the steepness in France was challenging compared to what we have in Australia.

How did you first get into riding, and what keeps you hooked today?

I got into riding through a school program, and what keeps me hooked is wanting to be the best.

What does a typical training week look like for you during the season?

I’m at the gym 3 x week, I ride my gravel bike a couple of times for zone 2 training, I take my E-bike out to get heaps of bike time, and a day or two on my enduro bike riding trails, and finishing with a race over the weekend.

A perfect day riding looks like...

Riding bikes with mates on the slopes of Morzine, France on a sunny day.

Any special pre-comp routines or rituals?

Just to make sure I am enjoying myself.

If you weren’t riding, what would you be doing?

Jetskiing and 4WD

And finally, what would you tell your younger self starting out?

“Make sure you always enjoy it, otherwise there is no point.”
